Until Prine is given the Mateix of Leadership, he is still Orion Pax just able to transform which is from G1 lore of Season 3 Five Faces of Darkness part 3 or 4. They learned the art of Transforming Autobots to combat the Decipticons. That is new and different but excites to see how that friendship turns into the war between Megatron and Optimus Prime at the end.

Ya know what? It’s official! I initially was wishing they gave their faces just a teeny bit more detail to make them look a bit more robotic, but after watching again, I’m more than ok with this look! And any other complaints I might’ve had, like it seeming more comedy focused, are completely retracted because 1. This might just be a marketing move to get a more wider audience interested with a comedy focused trailer with hints of action and lore, while the second trailer might be much more darker and more gritty. And 2. This is long before any war broke out! This was “the time they lived in harmony!” And Optimus and Megs are not at their full forms yet! It makes 100% lore wise for this film to be more light hearted with hints of some dark elements that most likely would start bubbling up to the surface! I’M EXCITED! I’M PROBABLY GONNA NEED TISSUES THOUGH! (Also, if you remember, in almost all TF Movies, at least 1 good guy bites the dust! In the 86 movie, almost EVERY good guy bites the dust! But most notably is Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus! In the live action films we have Jazz, Arcee, Ironhide, that one brother guy who gets frozen as a skeleton, I’m not sure about the Last Knight, and in the new universe, we so far have Cliffjumper, and Airrazor. Get ready for some tears guys!)

I like that Bumblebee gets his G1 Toy "Battle Mask" and has his War For/Fall Of Cybertron energon blades. Ariel/Elita-1 sounds good, and I would have preferred a sleeker car alt mode, rather than a Tron-style bike. She's as badass as ever, though! D-16/Megatron's "H-Tank" mode was expected, but his voice is pretty awful and way out of character then I'm used too. Kind of like how Beast Wars Megatron was in comparison to G1, you know? Were there rumors Idris Elba was supposed to be Megs? He should have been cast. Jason Momoa would have worked too, but we'll see how it pans outs. Orion Pax/Optimus Prime looks and sounds pretty good. Nice alt mode as we've seen the toy from the Amazon preorders, so I like the blend of Siege/FOC/Cyberverse and Animated to his truck and robot modes. No offense to the person playing him, who did very good, but it is so frustrating that Dan Gilvezan could not have been cast as Bumblebee, just one more time on the big screen, you know? I 100% agree with you that the animation looks absolutely stunning!!! It certainly is not in the tone of the seriousness and adult animation that the War For Cybertron Siege/Earthrise/Kingdom Trilogy on Netflix was, but this Movie looks better than I expected, so it may be a fun romp! Keep up the good work and 'til all are One, bro! 👊😎🍻
