I was looking for this for so long googling Smash amv, fighting game amv, berserk full metal alchemist, no scared full metal, the winning search was "berserk full metal alchemist pokemon amv" so now i must make sure to never lose it again.

How did you do the part where it shows video in Mewtwo's eye? You guys have made me want to make a super smash bro themed AMV as well. It's is obviously gonna be a lame version but I just wanted to make it so I can see some of my own fav characters fighting. :-P That's the reason why I asked how did you do the health bars but I'm gonna make it like you are fighting me. So there will be like a made up game chat. XD

You have to mask out the eye. Then place the video you want to appear in it in a layer underneath the one you just masked. That's the extremely simple explanation. I'd recommend checking for a tutorial on masking in the video editor you use =p

We only used anime that we have seen and really like... I haven't seen SAO yet, but I am watching Hunter x Hunter and loving that a lot. I only started watching after this video was well underway, otherwise you probably would have seen Gon vs Hisoka or something =)

Yup. Each of the characters' profile circles is a separate image. And then the full-size art is a different image too.

There is an effect in After Effect called "numbers" that you can apply to a text layer. You gotta use that and time it in the timeline, then you set with two keyframes.
