It is mostly the first edition Superfriends dvd sets that came in the cardboard packaging with disc overlay casing that has the "disc rot" or freezing no play. The second edition sets (released in 2018) that come in the standard black plastic case play fine. Plus, the packaging is more practical with the plastic case which are less harmful to the dvds.

I have this entire original series on individual d.v.d releases including both seasons of ''JUSTICE LEAGUE'' and both seasons of ''JUSTICE LEAGUE UN-LIMITED''.

I’m sorry, I’m afraid I don’t know for certain. I’m assuming it’s region locked but I don’t know for sure

does any one know if it is region locked i have gotten some dc dvds before and even when they said region 1 they still worked in region 4 players do you know if this bluray might be the same thank you

The final session The Super Powers Team: Galactic Guardians ...1985 is much more series and a darker than the previous seasons

The Fear was a fantastic episode. I do believe it was the first time Batman’s origin was ever shown on screen

I just finished collecting all the dvds over the last year, but I am definitely getting the blu ray complete series. These olderWB dvds are notorious for dvd rot. I hope we also get Ruby Spears Superman on blu ray too.

You can probably find it on eBay but I wouldn’t pay that price. Retail is only $119. I’d stick to Amazon

Like show, but not packaging. I understand why packaging this way. My suggestion get case or get custom box from esty from Amazon or Walmart plus keep packaging.

I remember in the 90s when Cartoon Network was still trying to find itself. Cartoon Network ran reruns of Super Friends. Being a 90s kid it was just super corny to me.
