in the manga goku did absorb super saiyan god into his base form like the anime, but most people don't know this cause they didn't read the frieza arc of the manga which was release separate from super manga to promote the movie, infact the manga version of goku is more powerful than the anime, and same goes for most other characters

If you didn't know the end of gt goku is over a 100 years old so he has a lot of experience. Thats why gt goku in base form is able to hold his own against goku to ssj2 and ssj3 form is able to hold his own against ssjg due to him mastering his ssj3 with the tail. Honestly I was hoping super goku would go ultra instinct at the end.

@@NoMercy4k Issue is that these two Gokus were setup to be as fair as possible; Super Goku in the manga was set to take place after the Zen exhibition match (otherwise he'd be far too powerful compared to GT), and GT is just after the last arc in GT, Super had no actual access to Ultra Instinct OR Mastered during that period of time, following that is the fact that this isn't 100+ years of training GT Goku, he's GT after the Shadow Dragons Arc & Aged Up back to normal This was all explained at the beginning of the animation, I've practically condensed it.

@@NoMercy4k Ye it said that at the start of the vid that's why Goku in this vid never used Kaioken with blue because in the manga he never used Kaioken after his fight with frieza. However in the anime obviously the Kaioken returned with his fight with Hit.

I know some people were losing their minds about GT Goku keeping up with Super Goku (in God Form). People need to remember that GT Goku's body was a kid the entire time which means his body was capable of being even stronger as he got older. And people forget that at the end of GT, 100 Years passed and Goku was still alive and training. Who knew how strong his base form was 🤷🏾‍♂️. And Super Saiyan forms like a 50x multiplier to your base form (if I'm not mistaken). Super Saiyan 2 is 100x Base. Super Saiyan 3 is 300x Base. Super Saiyan 4 is 10,000x Base. It's just math.

Also, this GT Goku is NOT from the 100 years timeskip Goku, this Goku is from after Omega Shenron, so this Goku is 5 YEARS after the end of Z. GT Goku after 100 years would have easily wipe the floor with this version of Super Goku.

From the time period the two have been taken from, I do believe that GT Goku does defeat DBS Manga Goku mainly due to the fact that GT Goku has far more experience under his belt along with SSJ4 not draining extremely large amounts of stamina. Along with that, SSJ4 also enables Goku to adapt and absorb ki, meaning that GT SSJ4 Goku can absorb ki from the attacks, and adapt to it.

The reason why goku didn't go ui till the very end is because he cant control it instinctively turns on and when he is out of stamina it turns off He cant transform to it at will because he didn't even know that form existed because that was before the T.O.P not after

In the GT timeline Z movies are Canon so GT scales are far higher than people think. Super is scaled inaccurately because of the statement " goku in base is as strong as ssj god" which is retconned. Goku did temporarily absorb god ki to kerp up with beerus but that doesn't mean his base is equal to ssj god. Proof is that he needed to transform into ssj god to push back a blast he wasn't able to push in his base form. It all happened in the same fight. So his base isn't as strong as the first appearance of ssj god. I'd argue ssj 4 scales far higher than what's depicted here
