Super Heavy Duty .... maybe that is what the puppy was sayin also . Nice video editing . The 52 year old Eldorado was probably wondering what the buzzy flying thing ( drone ) was eh ? New technology meets a reliable old tractor of a bike on a peaceful backroad . Luv those dirt roads for sure !

Autumn is my fav time to ride as well. Getting ready for a multi day ride myself. One comment, while I truly love old, lightly used gravel and two-track roads through the woods, I find I enjoy them a whole lot more these days on my DR-650. Maybe the geometry on the Eldo is better suited to those surfaces than my 650 Vstrom? Anyway, always watch your videos. Please keep them coming.
@nick949eldo3 ай бұрын
Thanks Greg, Having ridden a few V-Stroms and been quite impressed with their capability, I still prefer the Guzzi on these roads. Lower centre of gravity, less power, less likelihood it would lead me into trouble. And I can fix it with zip ties and baling wire😄. But it's never about the performance for me - it's all about the feeling, and the V-Strom doesn't have it (for me).

Ciao carissimo amico ti abbraccio forte e ti auguro tanti bellissimi viaggi.

The generator light stays on all the time - even though it is charging well (I crossed wires changing coils in the middle of the prairies about 30,000 miles ago). The other light just tells me the lights are on.

Hello overseas friend. A couple of questions, what mantained speed can handle the eldorado without the bike suffer, and, can you tell that it's suitable for long rides in highways? can navigate comfortably between the highway horrendous traffic? Thanks and wait expectating for more awesome scenarios from your country with, of course, the El Dorado as a travel partner. (And Sorry for my english, i'm a spanish guy)
@nick949eldo16 күн бұрын
Your English is excellent. My Spanish is non-existent so congratulations. The Eldorado is comfortable all day at 105-110kph. Although I wouldn't feel happy riding a 50+ year old bike at much higher speeds for long distances , the bike would probably be fine. I have ridden 1000+ kilometre days without any trouble. My record is 1725 kilometres in 22 hours. The bike didn't mind. I don't do much riding in traffic. The brakes are not up to modern standards so you have to plan your moves well ahead, but it is quite agile and easy to ride. Good luck and best wishes for 2025.
