Keyboardist here - this one is really special to me. I bought and played both Hylics and Hylics 2 after a friend of mine with immaculate taste shared the song Xeno Arcadia on my facebook feed during the hot and isolated summer of 2020 in Texas. The atmosphere and style of these games had such an impact on me - the art and music were so different from any other video game I was playing at the time, even if the gameplay itself resembled things I was familiar with. I wanted to talk about Hylics every chance I got. So I'm super grateful to the band for learning these songs and giving them the love they deserve, and I hope Mason Lindroth and Chuck Salamone are able to continue making art and music straight from their imaginations for many years to come.

It's somewhat new-to-me, but the original owner was my uncle! He special-ordered it from Guild back in the 70s to Jack Casady's specifications, and it was his main gig bass for decades. He passed on in 2019 and willed it to me, and so I've had it about 3 years and I do love it even though its uses for me are somewhat limited XD perfect tone for this kind of music though you're right!

The video description calls for recommendations and I see none in the replies (although the praise in lieu is very much deserved) so I have one: Chrono Trigger is by no means a hidden gem, but I'm imagining your take on Black Omen from that game and think it would be an outstanding fit. Would love to know if you agree. Obviously there are other Trigger songs that would work well if you do a medley, especially the less celebrated tracks. I'm already a big fan of your guys'sound, hope you stick around!
