SIO and capacitors: Are the capacitors connected in parallel with the SIO (Super Input/Output)? If so, a shorted capacitor could cause a beep, which may not necessarily be related to the SIO itself. or are those capacitors connected in series with SIO? thanks for the video.

Thank you for good explanation, I dont get 3.3v in pin 8 neither main bios nor second bios, altough 3,3v is available, can you advise me what to do?

I appreciate your feedback! It’s great to hear my explanation was helpful. For your issue: 1. Check Connections and Traces Inspect the PCB traces between the 3.3V source and pin 8 of the BIOS chip(s). Look for any broken traces, damaged vias, or cold solder joints. Use a multimeter in continuity mode to verify that the 3.3V rail is properly connected to the BIOS pin. 2. Test Components in the Path 3. Test BIOS Chips Remove the BIOS chip(s) and measure the 3.3V at the pad for pin 8. If the voltage is present without the chip, the issue could be with the chip itself or excessive load caused by it. If you have a replacement BIOS chip, try swapping it in to see if the problem is resolved. 5. Check for Shorts Measure the resistance to ground at pin 8 of the BIOS chip(s). If the resistance is too low, there might be a short circuit somewhere in the 3.3V line or the BIOS chip itself. 6. Verify 3.3V Rail Stability Ensure that the 3.3V rail remains stable and doesn't drop under load. A fluctuating or weak power supply can cause voltage issues at pin 8. 7. Consult Schematic If you have access to the motherboard schematic or boardview file, review the circuit to understand the exact pathway of the 3.3V to the BIOS chip.
