​​@@sampiph joy's voice is very unique, on its own. But it doesnt stand out when you mix it w/ different voices. Especially if she's singing w/ a crowd that also has thin voices. Take the collab of apink(hayoung), gfriend(yerin) and rv(joy) as an example. Joy's voice didn't standout when all of them were singing the chorus. You can't distinguish it from the other two bc yerin also also has thinner voice when singing in higher notes. Joy's voice didn't even differ whenever yerin comes next after her line. Another is the collab of Miss A's hush. Some of the idols in there hv raspy and fuller voice(sowon & mijoo) unlike joy's. And this is why joy's voice really stands out whenever she sings her own part. But notice how when they all sing together, no voice stand out in chorus. Not even mijoo's, sowon nor joy. That's bc all of their voices sounded thinner when combined together. And this is what differs haechan from joy. Bc haechan's voice really stands out in a group w/ fuller & thinner voices. Regardless if she is singing w/a woman or a man. Take 127 for example. Taeil, doyoung & jaehyun has a very distinctive and fuller voices. But whenever haechan sings w/ them, you can immediately distinguish his voice. That's simply bc his tone is like the opposite of everyone's tone. Another example would be password 486 w/ taeil, younha and him. Haechan Harmonised w/ both younha & taeil. But weirdly, his voice then again stand out. It was very distinct even though he was singing the lower notes while harmonising w/ each of them. Taeil and younha are powerful singers compared to haechan since haechan has a thinner voice. But never did younha and taeil over powered his voice. In fact, his tone was very clear.
