Moments like these made me fall hard for Donghae oppa. He was my first and is my ultimate everlasting bias in KPop. The first time I saw him on tv, I thought he was really handsome so I tried to research about him. Then, I found out just how talented he was. But what made me really feel connected/attached to him was his love for other people (whether it be family, friends, colleagues, fans). He's such a loving, caring and sensible person. I've always thought he's such a blessing to this world. I'm not sure if we deserve someone as pure. 😭😭😭

I can't stop of crying. Everytime I hear about Donghae's dad I remember and miss my mom. I really want her near me, but it isn't possible. When my friends start to talk about their mom , I don't say nothing, I only nod and smile slightly. I'm so jealous of my friends because when they're sad or worried about something they can call to their mom, but I can't do it. Every day I wish my life were a bad dream for waking up. I cry many times, and none of my friends know it. They don't know how I really feel, because I can't tell them my feelings due to I have no confidence. For this reason I really love Donghae, because I know how he feels an dhow much he miss his dad. Thanks for reading this, this made me feel a little bit better. Donghae oppa Saranghae!! It's odd that some are shocked that he was asked about his dad. There were a lot of variety talk shows back then that went for emotional angles instead of just comedy. This is also Super Junior who did whatever the hell they wanted to. They were so wild, still are. They were there because Donghae felt ready speak about the situation. They spoke up and shared stories in support of him. Seeing this clip again made me cry. I'm glad they had each other to lean on through this and all the other major trials they faced. 1st and 2nd gen idols seemed more ...I don't know how to say it besides REAL.. Leeteuk certainly had his hands full :(

But i feel like no matter how wild they were, they still didn't had much freedom regarding their choice. Else, Hangeng could probably still hold on till now. I've watched Kyu talked about his accidents and the members' rejection, and now this. And I'm now glad that these kind of show isn't as popular anymore because I feel like outsiders like us had no business prying on their private life. I'm really glad that Leeteuk didn't got asked about his dad like this, nor other idols about Joghyun, Sulli, and Hara. Let them share their feeling and thought if they wanted, but don't pry.

@@vivanyatodd5036 I guess our difference of opinion is fundamental. Managing and label decisions are not something they controlled but sharing private stories that they cherished is. I think they went on the show to talk about this, not that they were tricked, forced or badgered. Shinee went on a show and talked openly when they were ready. Other idols also did in their own ways. There's a lot of judgment being placed on the hosts and I don't think it's fair in this situation.

I only suspicious that the artist's manager (or whoever responsible) okayed the theme and questions without the artist's consent and the artist couldn't back out because then they'll be fined and affected their reputation.
