Super Lap Battle 2020 - Spoon Sports Euro R - Circuit of the Americas

It was a pleasure to drive the Spoon Sports Euro R at Super Lap Battle 2020. If you guys know a little bit about the history of this car, then you'll know that this is a world famous endurance racing car with multiple championship wins under its belt.
A big thanks to Nick Bright for letting me co-drive his car with him! We ended up with a PB of 2:37.626 for a 2nd place finish in Pro Comp class. Enjoy!

I have a 2005 tsx and people are sleeping on this cars bc this cars are type r k24 dtune from the factory Honda dirty little secret and they are going up in price bc the k24 they have and soon this cars will be classic cars in the import community and i love my tsx bc it can keep up with today's cars 🤣🤣🤣🤣💪💪💪 a supercharger and a tune up and my baby will be making 300hp up to 600hp with out any problems

This is not a k24 tsx though its a k20a accord type r

There’s so many of these cars as the Accord Euro in Australia (40,000+), NZ and Japan that the CL9’s will never be worth a lot. I picked up my CL9 for $2500US and it’s immaculate. Even the Euro R is still cheap and it’s way way way better than a TSX. They’re not detuned either really, RBB k24 only make another 10hp with a tune only, then you have to start playing with in+exh manifold and 50deg vtc to get more. So stock tuning is pretty optimised.

@@extracrispy3564 I’m in NZ. I just put the price in $US to make it easier for others- sorry. I think the cheap prices are mostly due to the high fuel prices here, my CL9 does 12.5L/100km (19mpg) around the city. I also have a gd3 jazz which uses less than half the fuel and it’s worth more than the CL9.

@@zeroyon4562 the k20a doesnt gain much more power with a simple tune either though. The k24a2 and k20a arent even that much different. Youd hafta put intake manifolds and stuff on a k20 as well. They are both great engines. In fact I prefer the k24 more because of the torque gain. The best engine is when you use the bottom end of the k24 and the top end of the k20 and then you get torque and high rpm. I have a tsx and its not that hard to upgrade it to the performance of a cl7 with a few mods. Theybare based off the same chassis and body.
