Foolish to take it head on should have spread out and ranged but don't think that would have helped. That laser.ship seems pretty fast for it's size and can turn very quick. Great design

Tbh, I’m kinda tired of this games meta. Ions are just so overpowered. If you are going to have a solo ship it has to be an ion ship or you just get picked apart using any other weapon.
