@@97aventador no problem. They do fly along windermere often and then either go down to Thirlmere or Ullswater. Loughrigg fell is one place to climb or further along there is Dunmail Raise if you want to get eye level.

They don't need one. The Lake District, along with other areas in the UK are designated training areas for the RAF, US Air force, and other Nations on exercises. This is simply Tom Cruise gung ho stuff. The aircraft are logged into the area during low flying, and logged out on completion.
