In setting when u are in game you can set it to "high frame rate" this will help with the lag

I've seen Beter and Jeef play this comp lategame and they always put a Chamaleon last to copy the big pirate and put a couple reborns early like horses, mounts, sabers or whateverthefuck. That's a better way to ensure your dude doesn't get eaten by a puny leeroy.

noticed that last comment about overestimating your opponents is getting some attention. Some food for thought, what's a better way to vocalize this? When do you start playing checkers instead of chess on battlegrounds. Is giving your opponents the benefit of the doubt ever really a bad thing? Would love to have some discussions on these thoughts. (the you here is generalized, I am not in anyway aiming these thoughts at only Shady)

The final battle placement could very well be the opponent out level thinking you. He knows that you know putting the 2 leeroys next to each other is a bad move when you have a cleave.

Not 100% sure it's fair to call leaving the Leeroys in the back a misplay. Yeah, if you leave the cleave up front, you take both, but if *you* move the cleave, like you did, it gives them the best shot at throwing one at Spacefarer Both of you had to decide what positioning you had to worry about. Yeah, they could have just defaulted to "Leeroys go in the back," but we don't get to see how they thought about it. I dunno, that "sometimes I overestimate my opponents" just felt.... pretentious? Great game, expertly piloted, my perpetually 9k self literally couldn't do better, so maybe I just don't get it

Yeah, thinking the opponent would surely do this and that was his mistake alone, the opponent may have made a mistake or they just took a gamble and shaddy fell right into their trap we can't really know but his attitude at the end just felt so wrong (he's great tho still)

I think another important thing is that opponent had Leroy taunted, and given this was the last fight, I believe that Taunting spacefarer is actually correct, albeit uncommon. You taunt space farer and you put cleave in position 4, playing around the opponent putting Leroy in position 5. Until your 4th attack, there are at least 2 units dead, possibly 3. Leroy would be second to last, which means cleave alone has either 75% or 60% of hitting Leroy. But for that, you need your units not to die, so spacefarer needs to be your taunt guy like in the early game

Actually, looking at the last combat, shady reduced the game into a mini game it was not. You can simply taunt spacefarer and win the value trades, even if Leroy kills it. If spacefarer trades 4 times before Leroy, you can probably power through this battle, as the rest of the board is small compared to spacefarer, but isn't small compared to the enemy

Should of sold the beast cleave and ran two pirate cleaves, looked for mutanous and used it on tour-group and then spammed cards/ gold

6:54 you had 10 armor already so buying the 5 armor spell was a misplay. Cost 3 gold and also cost u 5 armor
