Super MAGFest 2023 || Day 1 VLOG!!

Hey guys, I'm back at MAGFest for my 8th year! This year I decided to do a voiceover since I've had so many questions on my previous years' videos. I hope this helps in your future planning.

Hi, at Super Magfest D.C. are there lots of vendors with all different kinds of video games for sale? You showed footage of Sega Saturn and Atari games. Were there games for other consoles too?

Super Magfest this year starts on Thursday and we’re gearing up for that. There are usually a handful of sellers that have a variety of vintage electronics and consoles. Last year there were more than usual. The prices were kind of all over the place as to be expected at any con. Two years ago I purchased an Intellivison II game so, yes, you can find almost anything there. The computer history room is amazing also just to see and play some old old computers.

And last year I also picked up a few NES games for my original system. I must not have put those on camera.

Last time it was that warm for magfest must have been that one year where it was in late Feburary. About one week after Katsucon. If only it stayed like that all weekend

National Harbor is freaking brutal this time of year. Last year we had a massive snowstorm hit the week prior and I lost power to my home for three + days. It also snowed one day of Magfest. My first show was about 8 or 9 years ago back when they were at the end of January.

I've been trying to watch MAGFest videos in order to find my co-worker and the closest I've gotten to that is thinking that he might be at 12:43 in the corner of the VR screen with a light blue shirt, khaki shorts, and gray hair.

Ha! One of my subs commented that they saw themselves in one of my videos, and one of the bands thanked me for coming. I like watching Magfest videos to see what I missed out on. It’s impossible to see and do everything that weekend.
