if u jump on a certain amount of enemies in a row without touching the ground, it gives u a 1 up. So for the koopa shell, hes jumping so high and keeps landing on the shell, and the game counts it as multiple enemies ur stepping on

You didn't show level 8-Crown. Also using either p-wing or white tandoori makes your stars not glow on your finished file.

only missing ~15stars and i look and my three stars on my save file are white.. wtf. I must of picked up the item once to see what it did now i have to play the entire game again. i made a point to not win with those cheat items too but i still got punished.

I have a much better 1-up trick. With eitheir tanooki suit (statue or regalur) go to word Special 1-3. After the first cannon go near the bowser boxes.Have at least 4 goombas come out. Now jump and flutter. (Press and hold B) Let Mario/Luigi keep landing while holding B. If u need more time go to the bullet bill area grab the 100 sec timer and flutter back.

Donnitello Staff I think he meant that once you got 999 lives and above, the numbers would start turning into crowns. Also, the "right" number you have there is 100 million, 10 thousand, 10 lives. You mean 1,110.

You get a crown for each est of lives you get, so for the first crown you need to get 999 lives for it to show up, then after you've gotten the first crown you need to get 99 lives to get the second crown, then after you have gotten the second crown you need to get 9 lives for the third crown.
