Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury on PC | Yuzu Emulator Test 1080p60

This video was made to show how could the recently released Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury for the Nintendo Switch execute under the Yuzu Emulator, available for Windows platforms. Surprisingly, it works fine, taking of course in note that in the previous version, it crashed just right after choosing a savefile. Now, the entire game can be perfectly played using the Vulkan API.

I 100% Bowser's Fury in 6 hours using Yuzu, while it had lag spikes, it was definitely playable.

The emulation in regular 3D World is outstanding, I already beated all 8 worlds with all Green Stars obtained. Looking forward to see how it works in special worlds, so far so good!

What settings did you use, I'm also using vulkan and the game runs great except there's graphical glitches with the water.

It is widely known that AMD/Intel GPUs cause more graphical glitches than the NVIDIA ones.

no matter what my settings are, all games instantly crash when i open them on yuzu. reinstalling, restarting, updating drivers, none worked. any suggestions what to do?

I have a XBOX-Controller as well, but how can you touch the blocks that move in the game with that controller ?

It shouldn't, keep in mind that the Nintendo Switch uses a modified NVIDIA Tegra processor, which was originally manufactured for the NVIDIA Shield consoles a long time ago (2014-2015, if I recall correctly). The Tegra X1 series of processors are built in the Maxwell GPU architecture, which was the one used in the GTX 900 series of graphics card for PC, so it's not that hard to understand how the Switch's SOC works; therefore, emulation based around this console is far easier in theory.

Go to Emulation > Configure > Controls > at Input Device, select your controller instead of keyboard&mouse

Can someone explain to me why my game LITERALLY runs in slow motion? I don’t see any settings to get this running at 60+ FPS I’m at like BARELY 30fps LOL and my PC specs are def not lacking

May you be running the game in portable mode? Or it might just be that you're using an older Yuzu build, since I retested it with a RTX 3080 and the latest base Yuzu build and the game runs way finer than in the actual video by now.

Cemu emulates the Wii U console, and this game isn't available on Nintendo Wii U, just for Nintendo Switch.

Probably because of the goop that Bowser is impregnated in, which is very similar to some creatures in Death Strading.

Bowser's Fury is locked to 720p and 30fps in portable mode, and it gets boosted to 900p and 60fps in docked mode.

There aren't any mods at the moment that force the game to run at native 1080p. However, using Ryujinx you can natively render the game at higher resolutions, although it can only upscale from a 2x scale, meaning 1440p is the minimum possible upscaled resolution in that emulator, as the lowest resolution this game can output is 720p, so you'll need a decent graphics card to run it properly.
