here's something minor to speed up star collection, when the star is hiding in a box (or you're in the right position when it spawns) if you time a ground pound correctly, you'll be floating in the air at the position of the star during the short star reveal cut scene, and you will have collected the star immediately after the cut scene ends instead of jumping again. On one hand, I wanna vote for NCS because he was one of my first letsplayers and, although I don't watch his material often anymore, he holds a special place in my heart(Literally is one of the like 7 people who commented on my channel page, back in the days where youtubers used to thank individual subscribers.) I actually like they're not doing 100% run. Them being able to do any stars and not in any specific order means each of them could approach this differently. Each of them might skip different stars, and seeing how that'll play into who's fastest is cool. The route they take is relevant now.

I haven't watched the other episodes yet, but if this first episode is anything to go by, tim and jon are gonna be the 2 neck in neck head runners of this game. I'd be more willing to say other wise, but having the 2 main players on this channel stay at behind 3-4 stars is telling me they don't have a good chance. Especially with how quickly you can collect stars in this game.

The quickest way in my opinon is to avoid these 50 stars...Bowser's Red coins in the sky is pointless-1. All 100 coin stars-15. All Red coin stars except the 3 caps, the aquarium, Course 7/14-16. All stars in Rainbow Ride except 4 and 5-3. Stars 4 and 5 is Tick Tock Clock-2. Star 6 in Tiny Huge Island-1. All of course 12-5 (Unless they do that trick for the slide star) Stars 3 and 6 in Wet-Dry World -2. Stars 4 and 6 in Dire Dire Dock (Just to save time)-2 Star 4 in Shifting Sands Land-1. Stars 5 and 6 in Leathal Lava Land-2. The rest is what the should focus on. If I am off somewhere feel free to let me know :).

So this versus is going to be a lot like a Runaway Guys video...in that several people will be competing to be heard, thus two or three people will talk VERY loudly, usually talking over one another, and as a result Tim can barely be heard because he doesn't feel the need to speak up. Granted, I don't mind that all that much, its just always so unfortunate for Tim that I hardly ever hear him in an TRG video, outside of the occasional "Yeah!" or "Yup!" or music/movie-reference, as well as this episode of Versus.
