Man bro I played sm64DS back when I had 3 years also being those memories one of my first memories I didn't make it far into the game but for me the game had two sides, one: the magic and mystery that the game had behind things that I maybe saw, imagine or were told about, like waluigi behind that white door that didn't seem to open, and then doors that I didn't know what awaited behind them, like that one door in the basement that is bolked by a glass and a slope or the many blocks that only Wario could break hell I even thought that the 150 star Canon opened with wario's groundpound. And then side two: the creepienes of the game and it wasn't only the cassle's emptiness or the mad piano, it was also things that my 3 year old me could be scared of like the pirhana plants or the chain chomp, heck even browser's laugh scared the shit out of me. In conclusion for me it was always a great game that I was scared of and knew I was losing an amazing adventurde but due to begin a sacrdy cat couldn't experience
