Ben, I’ve been listening to this piece for a long time in and out. The way you avoid the whole acompaniment/ melody (whatever it’s called), throughout the whole song… you save it for after the, “YEAH!” At that point, I feel the engines at full throttle. Gulp gulp gulp, feels like I’m growing instead of shrinking, like I just swallowed that damn star, and BLASTOFF. This part gives me total ASMR. You can’t help but feel like “powerful Mario”. Thank you for bringing me this content. Unfortunate it’s not on Spotify. I would save it.
