This is honestly some of the best remakes of retro game music. Better than game companies are producing for their remade titles.

Video game publishers tend to change everything in a soundtrack in “remasters” for the sake of making a unique product and throw out everything that players originally liked about it to drive sales (or so they don’t have to pay royalties to the original composers). That is not actually a remaster respecting the original work. Shoes does respect the composer even with a remix album.

Wonderful work! Your covers stay true to the jolly beats of the original game, while having a style all your own. And I like how you mixed some of Wart's theme into the boss theme, it's a nice touch. :D ...also, can I say I love the background picture? I like how Toad is blue like he is in the game, and that the artist acknowledged that a Snifit's bullets are supposed to be made of darkness.

Man I love this 😍It sucks that I tried finding the Wart remix in the folder, but I wasn't able to find it... Come to think of it, I only see Mario 3, World, Land, & Lost Levels. Not a single track I could find of the original and SMB 2.
