Not sure if this is what happened, but I think when Mario got to the final level, instead of cutting the bridge with the axe, he uses the axe to smash his shell and then slammed it down on his head to kill him. Bowser survived but became insane and now needs to crawl. He kills Luig, Toad, and Peach which makes the game glitch out in the end since they weren't supposed to die.

Yeah, at first I thought it was kind of interesting having Bowser appear as a wild and wounded animal, but the game doesn’t lean into that at all and it’s just a mishmash of .EXE tropes strung together. Wild animals are scary, they don’t need teleportation or the ability to distort reality to be terrifying.

Here is a little context: the game is a kind of recreation of the first Mario in which we are allowed to play with two extra characters Peach and Toas, however this recreation is invited by an entity known as king_ruthless, a demon in the shape of Bowser who He seems to be trapped in this recreation who now looks for gullible victims to play with them in a psychopathic way to the point that they take their own lives, he is quite cruel and sepia-toned and to some extent behaves like an animal. curiosities 1. king_ruthelss had a previous name being this insan 2. Before it was going to be more inspired by Estarved Eggman but the creator decided to make it more unique, even with that it continued to be compared to Estarved Eggman (something similar to what happened to No More Innocence and Mr Virtual) 3. king_ruthelss's design is based on the fake bowser from mario the lost leven (the original mario 2) who was previously bowser's brother in the japanese version but in america in all stars this was changed to just be a clone of bowser 4. king_ruthelss had a redesign and it is the one we currently see. The old one had a greener tone and bright eyes, apart from the fact that he had two horns and was not so emaciated in general, the current one is more blueish, it has a broken horn and it has a huge fracture in the head and in general he is much more emaciated in general to the point that he looks like a zombie and he is going to have a third in a remaster that is being made to the game in which he will have a completely blue color, his skin and his The only horn has a golden color, its eyes are smaller and with a red pupil and a golden crown.
