I prefer the red and blue colors, than the final red and brown ones. Sure, they look better for the hair, but the overalls are brown too. Even Donkey Kong and Mario Bros used those colors, why would they change them now?

assuming the the background was blue, therefore mario would look transparent.... donkey kong had a black background, therefore "jumpman" mario red and blue colors would pop!

I know the color pallet was accurate to the promotional art, but I'm glad they changed Mario's color pallet to the one we see in the games. The pallet is too bright in my opinion.
