再現度高いですね・・・！ オブジェクトの配置・配色・ドット絵はもちろん、背景の木の形、光らないコイン・ブロック、下向きパックン、タイムの減り方、1-2などの入り口への強制進行を無くしている等、システム系までhackされており芸が細かいです これで横に長い土管、一部の敵（落ちてくる氷柱、カニなど）、BGM、効果音までいじれていたら最強ですね！ 横に長い土管はSMBでは未実装だったと思うので、何かのオブジェクトを書き換えるしかないですし、容量的に難しいのはよく分かります

This is the Special graphics hack I wanted to see but thought I never would. Especially with the issues ironed out that made the original so bad but retaining the original color pallette and features. This is great!

35:26 to 35:43 was absolutely stunning. I enjoy watching many of your runs. You make them look good even when level design is obviously deficient or cruel. But when you got into that bind at 35:26, I was certain you were going to die, but you kept dodging the hammers somehow with a clarity of mind I never enjoyed during my long years of playing SMB1. By the time you got out of danger at 35:43, I was saying to myself, "Oh, MY!" While this wasn't a terrible hack and has many impressively designed challenges, it also suffers from thoughtlessness about what a level must have and NOT have. Congratulations on outwitting the levels, especially when they became sadistic.

The Stars in Super Mario Brothers Special have smiles on their faces as well as has slightly different color schemes, most likely due to being on the Sharp X1 or NEC-PC-88, than the traditional Stars in Super Mario Brothers and its arcade and FDD/FDS expansion packs, of which SMB2J is also one such game in the series. The maker of the mod needs to do more research with regards to the exclusive enemies to this game, like getting the exact sprites of the Barrels, Fighter Flies, Crabmeats, Icicles, Fireballs (which are in either two or three varieties and look, as well as act, completely different than the Podoboo/Bauble, add in exclusive game Items, such as the Hammer and Hudson Bee Logo (which is also worth 8000 Points), and also make a new mode where a two player game is possible, as well as fix the trap areas of the original game. The Special in Super Mario Brothers Special also flashes the same three colors as the Small Coin Icon, Coins, Coin Brick Box Coins, Question Block Coins, and Question Blocks in this game, so it should also do the same thing in this port of the game.

@@FelixSullivan , well then someone should have told the people that worked with Hudson Soft and Nintendo this fact, as it says this in the end credits of this game, as in on both the NEC PC-8801 and the Sharp X1. I know that it is called a Sidestepper, but that this game does not list it as such for some reason. Moreover, they also list the Hammer Brothers as the Hummer Brothers...seriously, why would King Bowser/Big Devil Koopa put big military trucks into his armed forces as stand alone baddies anyway? Also, how can vehicles be related to one another, you know, aside from using the same frames and most of the same parts?
