Great game! My favorite part so far was that break time thing where they played the Super Mario World switch house music and had the coins as the song's musical notes! So clever and nostalgic!

@abdallahsmash do you know when you hit R1 to turbo dash to turbo through the water? That first pipe in World 2 Robbird Cove DOES NOT necessarily require the shell to go down it. Yes it has a whirlpool coming up it yes and you can't go down it at a normal speed however there are 2 ways to go down it. 1. use a shell like you did OR 2. Do like I did and hit R1 dont use a shell and turbo swim through the whirlpool straight and if carefully done you will easily go through that pipe to get to the first purple coin I did not know that until I got frustrated to the point where I pushed buttons. But then I went back to replay the level again to figure out what I did and I figured out how I got that first purple coin.

Love the charm, the music & absolute fun of this new game! World 4 so far is bar far my absolute favorite - always love the desert/Ancient Egypt themes they play around with! My only little nitpicks thus far would be; 1. Those scavenger hunt like "challenge" stages are just plain gross & reek of lazy game design. 2. *Why is every character a freaking clone?!* Maybe my OG NES bias is showing, but why in 2023 can we not have some slight pros/cons to each character like we had in Mario Bros 2? ie: Mario was the 'well balanced jack-of-all-trades' character, vs. Luigi who had higher jumps, vs. Toady who was faster but lighter, vs. Peach who could jump & glide *reeeeally great distances? Why not say, Peach could jump/glide farther & with more precision but would be lighter & take a bit more knockback, while Daisy would be the 'bulky' princess who'd take less knockback & more power in her item throws, but with slightly shorter jumps & far less glide? Then you'd even have more replayability to do things like "Luigi only" or "Toad only" challenges, where certain stages would be ALOT harder for specific characters to clear as you have to compensate for their various quirks? Ugh, rant over! Still, for a 2023 Nintendo game I'm still giving it a solid 8.5/10 right now! Can't wait for the finale!
