in the clip you showed Mario's voice was higher, and Luigi's voice was deeper in Mario 3, and in super show they where around the same pitch, also I think Mario's voice is deeper, than Luigi's if I can remember correctly (its obvious when you watch Charles' interviews where he speaks in both voices and you can clearly here how Luigi's is a bit higher but not by much)

There's something I don't quite understand, if Yoshi is a baby in the SMW, then speaking canonically, who brought the Bros. to their parents from Yoshi's Island? Was it possibly a different Yoshi? Are they taking care of YI Yoshi's son? Is this a parrallel universe in which TJ "Henry" Yoshi could exist? Or maybe I'm looking way too deep into this?

I yoused to watch this show when I was 7 and I thout it was cool however, hea ring that rap song now makes me want to cringe when I watch this on Netflix I usually skip that rap song, and I did not watch the live action segments that much, I usually went straight to the animated segments, and God the animation errors. Other than that this show is cool, but I think the other two are better, especially the second one.

Fun Fact: The man who played Dracula in The Super Mario Bros Super Show is Jim Ward, the VA of Captain Qwark from Ratchet & Clank from 2002 all the way up to Life of Pie. Okay, I have to ask this, because it has bothered me for so many years... When it comes to movies and tv shows, and maybe even comics, based on video games... Why do people get so mad and pointlessly nitpick over everything because of how different it is? I'm sorry, but the "This isn't like the games, THIS IS DIFFERENT, THEREFORE IT IS BAD!" mentality from even the most hardcore of fans just makes me scratch my head. Now, while I do enjoy the games to this day still, are the Mario cartoons really so bad, or do people just not like them, solely because they're nothing like the games? Just imagine for a minute if it was more like the games... It'd be even LESS interesting than the games, so I'd say the adaptations being different is a good thing because that makes it far more creative, and animators spend so much time getting all that work done, and no one appreciates it? Maybe it's just me, but again the "if it's different, it's automatically bad" mentality doesn't apply to me because I don't really expect the cartoons, tv shows, movies, and comics to be 100% accurate to the source material, it just can't be done, because it would ironically be worse. Just because it's different, that doesn't make it bad.

It’s kind of strange to me when adaptations that aren’t faithful are almost seen as lazy because “they didn’t even bother to adhere to the source material”. Isn’t it much harder to redesign characters and create new ones than it is to only stick to established character designs? I quite like a lot of the new ideas they came up with for the Super Show; while not everything works super well, it gives the show its own wacky, cartoony feel. As an example, I think Pastaland is such a fun and creative location that, while not really based on anything in the games, still feels somewhat Mario-like. I could totally imagine it being a Kingdom in Odyssey, with its wacky theming and otherworldly landscapes.

I can tell YoshiPlayer picked his least favourite episode of a show each time he had to talk about an episode. But each time you had to pick an episode, it was your least favourite episode, then it was an episode you liked, and then it was a memorable episode. What was your logic for deciding episodes? Was it the most highlighted ones for you?

My least favorite Mario World episode will always be A Little Learning. As a kid, I always thought Hip and Hop were the problem. But rewatching it, I’ve noticed that Oogtar and Yoshi are not only the problem/the instigators, but also get away with what they did while Hip and Hop are punished for standing up against it.

After watching all of the Dic Entertainment versions of Mario/Zelda/Captain N and the Sonic Cartoons. I have to say that not all of them were bad. Best ones: Zelda cartoon and Sonic SatAM shows were really good and full of action and some funny moments. Mostly enjoyable despite their flaws: Mario Live Action segments from Super Mario Bros Super Show, Captain N series, Mario 3 Cartoon, Mama Luigi episode from Super Mario World. Mario's Flying Carpet episode from Mario Super Show cartoon. Sonic Says there is nothing more cool than to be hugged by someone you like (really important lesson for the kids) Forgettable and best to avoid: Most of the Mario cartoons from Super Show and Most of the Super Mario World cartoons, Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog (NOT the SatAM ones), Some of the early Captain N episodes but not all are that bad as they get better as the creators got used to introducing each NES game to the series, though their treatment of Metroid was bad as there was absolutely NO Samus Aran, just the planet called Metroid but NO actual Metroids.
