As someone wolfed Mario as a kid, there are no words to describe how this touch my ❤️ on deviantart. This shows that Luigi still cares for Mario even though he's envious of his popularity; it also show that Mario isn't oblivious of his brother's lack of popularity. Sure they argue & getting to fights, but that's what comes with siblings. Mario realizes that with his brother what's the point of doing what he's doing.

This tugged at my heart more than I want to admit. Throughout my life my best friend and I would always consider ourselves as the Mario Bros. Although I was the oldest and preferred Mario over Luigi, and him vice versa, personality wise he was the braver of the two while I was the more hesitant one. He'd get all the girls and whatnot. I envied him alot. Sadly he was taken away from me 6 years ago for being at the wrong place at the wrong time. I reflect on the good times we had and even though we had our fair share of fights, we always were there for one another. So I thank you for dubbing this and allowing me to remember the good times I had with him. Thank you Fabian, for being my bro.

I equally love both Mario and Luigi. As a kid, I was more of a Mario fan, then I became a Luigi fan in my teens. But now, as an adult...I love them both. Mario's the video game hero I grew up with the most. He became such an important icon in my childhood. I'd always begged my parents to get me the latest Mario games and whatever merch I could get my hands on. Then Luigi became my idol in my moody teen years. I found him a lot more relatable, and admired his shy, cowardly, clumsy, yet courageous personality. Then, I felt like I wasn't giving Mario enough credit growing up. Just because he doesn't speak, doesn't mean he's completely devoid of having a personality. I know he's your basic optimistic and fearless hero, but I always felt like there was a bit more to him. He's competitive, he doesn't exactly have the healthiest diet, he can be sneaky at times, he can even (albeit rarely) show sadness, but most importantly...he really loves his little brother. Mario would always be there to pick up Luigi whenever he's down like in the intro of Mario+Rabbids Kingdom Battle, or praise him for his bravery like in the ending of of Luigi's Mansion 2. And in the Mansion games in general, Luigi would toss his cowardice aside to save Mario and co. One Mario Bro. simply cannot exist without the other. They may go on their separate adventures from time to time, but when they're together, they become a near unstoppable duo. The Mario & Luigi games are proof of their strong brotherly love, and incredible teamwork. And that's one of the things I've come to love about the bros as of late.
