Fun fact about Spin Dig Galaxy: there's a glitch you can exploit in the second mission by long jumping over to the sling star that disables the Cosmic Clones and spinning just as the cutscene for them appearing starts up. If you do it right, the game will freeze up because it's trying to summon and kill the clones at the same time or something like that. Apparently it can really screw up your system, so it's not recommended that you do it.

I remember when I was young, I would look at the backdrop when playing Spin-Dig Galaxy. My immediate thought was that it was the final battle area against bowser in the first galaxy game, but that the star has cooled off. I mean look at the holes of the "planet". Do they not match with the final battle arena?

there is 1 level with the spin drill that i really hate and it's the comet level in Flipsville Galaxy titled: Purple Coin Spin Speed Run basically you know how hard purple coins in the bone pen was in galaxy 1, well for this your given 2 and a half minutes to get 100 purple coins and it is aggravating to complete (sure it's not like the 1 minute BS that the bone pen had but still this one is just as frustrating)
