It always intrigued me how this version of Gobblegut gives you a grand star, but the much harder set-aflame gobblegut in the hidden star mission gives you a power star xP

I remember when this first showed up on my screen, I had a mini heart attack actually realizing I had to fight this thing. I had nightmares as a kid.

It took me like 10 tries beating this boss. I found it rather difficult to dodge his attacks after knocking out the first three of his stomachs. He speeds up then and it was near impossible to time the attacks without getting hurt. I can only imagine how hard the flame one is

DUDE!! I was the same!!! I’d be TERRIFIED of this boss when I was about 6 or 7(especially the train whistle) I was so scared of him that i didn’t want to fight him ever again. Eventually I overcame my fears and beat him myself!!

He's so unpredictable - even running away from him, he'd always somehow hit me when he dived through the planetoid and would proceed to knock be down again as I tried to aim for his weakspots!
