This level is actually kind of insane. For how easy it is to get the 6 coins and defeat their bosses, this level is a sudden jump in difficulty that caught me completely unprepared as a kid. No halfway checks, some brutal jump timing that the other levels in the game don't prepare you for and those first few times; Wario's almost definitely going to kick your ass. I spent as much time trying to clear this one level as I did getting the 6 coins combined. It's brutal. Well, it was for child me. Adult me blazed through this game in like an hour, lol.

That is so true. The castle is so big without any checkpoints. It took me like 6 days to get to the castle. It took over 60 weeks before I was finally able to beat it.

Wario’s first appearance ever made for the very first time ever in history in 1992 at 3:41. Then started his first very own franchise with the next instalment which was made in 1993 and released in 1994.

Actually, we could see him during all the game, at the castle's title screen, wandering around on the castle's roof, but only as a shadow... It wasn't until after a hours-long adventure and a final horribly difficult level that we finally, indeed, got to see Wario in his first actual, and by the way, only direct "boss" appearance... He was also a boss during Mario and Wario a SNES game, but he was on a plane, etc... Wario in SML2 was a somewhat unique appearance, because after this one, he got soooooo much popular that he became his own protagonist.

If Illumination studios ever has Wario show up in the Mario movie or in one of the sequels, I kind of want to see a fight scene between Mario and Wario as a way to pay homage to this epic battle. Kind of like how the Sonic 2 movie had Sonic vs Knuckles, which was basically how it went doen in Sonic 3 & Knuckles. P.S.: And with a badass remix of that boss theme.

The trick is to grind on the 2nd left level on tree zone because you can get 5 extra lives so I just play that over and over until I have 99 lives and replenish if needed

You are right. Since the original Gameboy had no colours to show the usual white and red transformation they had to show the fire flower power up visually with a feather on the cap. Whoever made this edited version did away with the feathered cap and just used the colours to show the change.

Let bygones be bygones". So he doesn't actually say sorry for accidentally bullying Wario or for being oblivious to how Wario felt or admit to being in the wrong. Then he literally tells Wario to stop being a whimp. So he's just telling Wario to just suck up and get over the trauma. And then he makes Wario play the role of bandit again instead of either letting Wario be the sheriff or doing something totally different showing Mario has basically learned nothing.
