If you look closely at the castle image around 10:49, you can still see the bricks behind the castle. Also prior to that screen, the castle was only missing the third floor and was at 21%. Therefore there has to be a lot more to build afterwards

Don't forget the narrator DID say during the Direct that Story mode is how you unlock new building parts. Which makes me think those missions at 5:40 - 7:25 don't just revolve around using the On/Off Switch, 3D World Theme and Angry Sun, but also unlock them. I also think the Hammers at 7:56 might be that you need to complete 2 missions for the Toads to finish their work.

At about 7:56 on the Mario Maker 2 Direct, small Mario passes through a checkpoint WITHOUT turning into Super Mario. What if there was a final boss where it was against the eraser and the dog, and the eraser erases the land you’re standing on and the dog undos things to mess with you. You’d have to jump on their heads 3 times as usual, but then there would be a second phase, where they fuse and can do a bunch of random things and create a bunch of random obstacles to get by. You’d then have to jump on their head 6 times, but a Luigi AI or a second player would come and help you defeat the enemy, like in the co-op online mode. You’d eventually defeat it and then it says it will stop its madness. The end and then you unlock something. I don’t what it would be.

Coins collected in the level doesn't amount to additional coins in the overworld, or at least we don't know for sure, as 10 coins were given by reaching the top of the goal pole, and only 10 coins were collected in the level, implying that no coins were collected from the level traditionally speaking.

Okay, this is completely unrelated, but I had this crazy speculation on the Night themes. *Anyalsis, GO!* I've seen some people talking about how they are worried if they can disable the effects added by the Night theme. Well, here's something strange. During the orginal MM2 trailer, with the vertical scrolling section, we see a different colored Ghost House theme. But in the reveal for Online multiplayer, we see the orginal color for the Ghost house, (Keep in mind both were in the Mario World style). And in the Night theme reveal, we see the same colored style of the Ghost house, with the dimmed lights effect. So, this might mean that we're able to disable the effects of the Night themes.
