Barracuda, The Porcupuffer is the one with spikes. It will also try to eat you, But is more annoying. There is also the Boss Bass From Mario 3.

10:37 well, passing the goal gate without touching the tape was possible in Mario Maker 1. But this is more consistent with the original Super Mario World. The real solution here is to use the spiky helmet to break the blocks above Mario.

You really didn't need to worry about doing levels outside of numeric order. Story mode was designed to be possible to go through in many different orders depending on the choices you take. So that everyone's experience is unique.
