I recently got "Super Mario Maker" for a Christmas present, and I'm pretty sure the game is gonna be really complicated. What, with building the levels, environments and whatnot. So, if possible, I was wondering if someone could sum up the basics of the game and its parts/sections I'm about to list: Plot: Does the game have a story mode, as the "main" game? Recreating: when I recreate levels and places, what's it basically like? Is everything from scratch when I make my environment? Blocks, enemies, water, platforms? Probably a difficult process to do and explain, huh? Is recreating its own section to click on and play, as opposed to plot? Where should I start when I play this game, especially to work my way up? I am definitely a beginner, and you know how we beginners are Simple question: can I design a level where I can choose to throw bob-ombs or shells at Bowser? It's important for me to know the limits of my creativity (and ways to fight Bowser)

@@DahRealCheezeThe Wii U. But it's okay. I learned the basics. Still, I wouldn't mind learning how to warp with the pipes _I_ set up. In fact, do you know how I can go from one room/place to another in my own courses? For example, in Super Mario Bros 2, level 1, there's a cave with a vine and wallfall inside. They have a SMM version of that in my game. You're outside, and you go inside, and then back outside.

I still prefer this SMM than 2 Unfortunately, on April 8th of this year (2024) Nintendo will end support for the Wii U and 3DS. With this the SMM phases will evaporate :(
