I love how Darker Side combines just pretty much a lot of the game mechanics and characters. There was the UFO, poles, lava bubbles, tomatoes, uproots, hedgehogs, the Sphynx, scarecrows, Glydon, mosquitoes, forks, pokey birds, laser generators, Bowser, and Donkey Kong

Honestly, this is the only real flaw I could find in this masterpiece of a game... It's not "hard" when you kick me all the way back after a whole run of several different sections of a huge ass level, it's rather just tediously frustrating. Give me a checkpoint, come on, I'm getting fed up rather than enjoying it.

Thank goodness I watched this video 😅 I’ve been on it for 1 week already and I still can’t pass that darn stage where you have to throw your hat at the scare crow and then having to maneuver around those “sudden popping out” blocks. I get too anxious that I end up messing up 😂 Thanks for the video ! Even if I couldn’t beat that level myself I’m quite satisfied with watching the end.

You can use Glydon and completely skip the fork section if you just shake the controller to lift his flight to sail straight to the pipe

I went trough Volleyball, Rope jumping, vanishing roads... But thats IT. This Level Drives me insane. Its so sadistic. Projekt " collecting all moons" died. IT was a nice time Mario. See you in the next Game.

I have a few questions I'd like to ask before the game is released by tomorrow in NJ. 1) How many game slots are there in this game? 2) While playing in Assist Mode, are they any restrictions like unable to play the final location, the Darker Side of the Moon Kingdom? 3) Once boss battles are done once, can they be replayable?

1. There are 5 game slots 2. As far as I know the assist mode can be used in every level 3. Some Bosses can be rematched

NightShadow720 Boss battles are able to be redoable as long as you complete the game in the mushroom kingdom you should find harder versions of the boss fights

What a beauty of a game. I'm not here to trash talk this level, because I'm not a stupid 10 year old who ragequit and smashed his switch. This is an amazing conclusion to the game, from the "thank you" at the end to cappy's last lines, this truly is a masterpiece. It took only 10 tries, with some luck and sweat, until I made it.

Hardest level but also the worst. It has the same design flaws like Corona Mountain in Sunshine. It has no safestates to ruin your day, way too many points where you die too easy and just start from the beginnin. The entire maps existence makes no sense at all and you are forced to do this level to bring this game on 100%. Best Mario game obviously, but shit level like this drag every Mario game out of being a top tier game. And the fact that this is the last world makes it even worse. Just sad
