Bowser phone and Shop phone are back but nerfted: Bowser Phone targets random opponent instead of your choice. Shop Phone makes it so that you can only buy from Koopa Shop and not Kamek one. But they do have cute animations so that kinda balances it out

Nah dude, the Cellular Shopper is significantly buffed from MP3: in MP3 you also could only call only one shop, the Toad shop, and you could only chose between a smaller selection of items in comparison to the actual shop, while in Jamboree you can chose between the full item selection of the Koopa Troopa shop

I’d say this “nerf” has made the Bowser Phone more risky to use. In Mario Party 3 it was easy; send an opponent to Bowser to potentially screw them over or, if you had no stars or coins, you could send yourself to Bowser and get some money. This game though, someone gets screwed over, you won’t know who, but Bowser WILL ruin someone’s day. The question is are you brave enough to call the beast, knowing that it may screw with you?

Here's how to get the hidden block card. 1. Be in 4th place. On the last five turns. Land on an item space. Note: it's a very rare item. You can get it from the roulette item or item minigame. But you still have to be in 4th place for it to happen. There's a trick, pick any stage, then go to handicap and give 3 opponents 5 stars. Have your custom dice block with you. It helps.

Yes, you start with an item in pro mode, but the item choice is limited. also all enemies also start with an item. The fact that the others dont start with an item and that he can start with items that arent available (at the start) shows that he has been modding the game

You are supposed to use the dice when you are really far from the star and you just need to close the gap before the others do, not to directly go for it. If you want to prioritize getting the star quickly, and not care about the other spaces like Boo or Item Shops, then this is the best option.

@@gustavochavarria8161 im sad that boo repellant and reverse shroom dont make a return. i loved using reverse shroom on myself to visit boo 3 times in a row and having protection against boo is just nice (except when you are the one stealing lol). those arent the only items that dsont make a return from previous mario partys. others include the mini and mega shrooms and sparky sticker, all from mario party 4. they also dont have the whomp orb from 5 (or it was 6, i get those 2 confused sometimes).

It's been a month, so neither of you should need this advice anymore, but the easiest way is to be 4th place during the Homestretch, have a Custom Dice Block, use it to reach an Item Space, and hope you either get the Hidden Block Card or an Item Minigame that lets you win the card. If you don't, reset the turn and repeat. Once again, this is the EASIEST way. I feel like I should say that again...

I still need to use Creepy Tickets, Bowser Phone, Hidden Block Card, and Duel Glove, three of which can be obtained at item spaces and lucky spaces in lower positions, as well as from Item Bags. So how do you even get creepy tickets? Edit: Every item can be found in a shop on some board (For Creepy Tickets it’s the second half of Mario’s Rainbow Castle at Kamek’s Shop) EXCEPT the Hidden-Block Card, which I have seen three times and haven’t gotten once. I am in so much mental pain.

could someone further explain the Mushroom Ticket? like i dont see how its any different for the reg Mushroom, even though it says "use Mushrooms which adds +5 to rolls, 2 to 4 times" but its only affective that one turn

It's essentially multiple Mushroom items stacked in one slot. In one round, you use the ticket to get a Mushroom, in the next round, you use the ticket to get a Mushroom again. Repeat until the Ticket runs out.

Not true, in MPDS, if you landed on your own trap (except for the Coin and Star Block traps, those functioned as normal), you got 5 coins and the trap was deactivated.
