What's up 👋 ladies & gentlemen 👨🏻‍✈️👩🏻‍✈️, it's-a-me 🙌 SuperKevinuts! 🤩 And today 🍂🌞, I'm going to play 🎮 another amazing ✨ "Super Mario" flash-game 🕹️ of my childhood 🥺 called : "Super Mario Starcatcher!" 🤩 As the title of the game suggests, the goal of this game, created by the users named : Lolliepop & Cuber 3, is you to help Mario to collect all the 20 stars from all the 20 levels, but this isn't gonna be that easy, since you'll have to fight against Bowser's minions in order to succeed, and if you did, in the end , the infamous Bowser is gonna try to kill you, and if you don't wanna that to happen, then you'll have to fight back for your life, and also for the fate of the Mushroom Kingdom! When you open this flash-game, you'll be welcomed by a warming main menu, which resembles the : "Yoshi's Island 2" level from the mighty 2d video-game called : "Super Mario World", but much more detailed with lots of pipes, bushes, blocks etc. On this main-menu you can see there are 4 buttons, the 1st one being to START the game ; 2nd is for INSTRUCTIONS (which shows you the controls : Arrow keys for walk ; Space for jump) ; !-block/P-switches to activate/trigger some events ; ?-blocks which stores coins ; Hint Blocks to help you what to do if you're stuck somewhere in the level & 1-up mushroom for extra lives. The 3rd button is for showing you the CREDITS of this game & the 4th is OPTIONS to change the quality of the game from low to best & to change to fullscreen mode. Now, back to the gameplay, once you start playthrough the levels, you'll notice that as you progress & win them, they'll gradually become harder & more challenging & that's how a good Mario flash-game should be, so I'm not gonna complain about it, lol. I love challenges, they make me a better gamer. Moving on, levels 1-4 takes place in a forest, where you get to collect lots of coins, jump a few pits, use the P-switches to make the walls that are blocking your way to disappear & use the platforms to reach a place, by activating them using the !-blocks. Levels 5, 10, 15 & 20 are just bonus levels that basically represents for Mario a coin-fest, from where you can get as many coins as your heart wishes. Levels 6-9 & 11 takes place in regions with Hills Rocks where again where you get to collect lots of coins, jump a few pits, walk on various platforms, hit the !-blocks to reveal the hidden blocks which is the pathway to the winning of the levels. At this point, the enemies like : Galoombas ; Jumping Piranha Plants & Banzai Bills & 1-up mushrooms which can be obtained after unlocking some secret paths. Levels 12-19 takes place in more places like : Hill Zone ; Underwater ; Blue Scape ; Ghost House & Castle. These levels are somewhat harder due to the fact that you've got to hit lots of colored !-blocks to enable/disable platforms without dying by falling in pits & reaching the stars to go to the next level. You have to press lots of P-switches in order to enable/disable blocks & platforms as well or to find them by yourself since they're invisible until you accidentally touch them & reveal them by doing so, all of this while dealing with enemies such as Galoombas & newly Bloopers from the underwater level. Oh & let's not forget about those moving platforms which are a pain the ass & you'll know what I mean when you get to play the game. The 20th level is the Bowser fight which isn't much of a big deal since you can just sit in the corner & wait for him to end attacking & after this you can grab its tail & throw him in the wall until he's defeated.
