When I think back, this game was f***ing awesome. Probably my favorite 3D Mario platformer. The game had a very unique atmosphere and was very story-driven in comparison to the others. Also I found this game generally more challnging than the rest, especially the FLUDD-less portions. I also loved how interactive the environments were; every time you entered a course, it had a story to tell. Of course all core Mario games are amazing, but Sunshine is Mario's answer to Majora's Mask.

I do like how the music speeds up with each phase, then goes crazy when he dies! The music must have been generated by the Gamecube's sound chip rather than being a recording to do that.

I always loved facing this boss because I liked watching his rampage from afar after the first 2 times you ground pound - SAFE FROM HARM. I hated getting near him because he was scary :O

Actually, Mario shined the light on the tower that Wiggler couldn't stand it, so then he accidently let go of the tower and fell because the light was too bright. (hey that rhymes!)

It would have been neat to see a game with him as the boss again... it would be REALLY neat if he was in SMG2! each time he got up, he would jump, and the planet would get smaller, making him harder to dodge.... I really wish they make a game where you get to ride that giant wiggler.... it would be an interesting concept.
