Why do you want a remake of this? How does it need remaking? If you’re thinking a remake with the modern mario aesthetic, that would just be wrong. I don’t see how a remake could improve on Mario world. I think a sequel made with same engine and design limitations would be much better.

This is neat even though it also clearly displays all the limitations I never liked in Mario Maker 2. You can only adjust the water level in ONE theme, backgrounds and the different kinds of themes are very limited, you cant change what music plays (for example if you wanted the athletic theme to be playing in a snowy level instead), theres only one sub area and so many features are missing. They didn't even have the decency to bring Blue Yoshi and Yellow Yoshi... But I do find it creative how you worked around these awful limitations, especially for the final boss fight with Bowser!
