thank you so much for this, and also Japan thank you for all your video games and animated series you made this kid (now 35 years old Ossan) have the best childhood where as soon I finish school I would go running to play consoles or watch cartoons and talk about it with other friends :)
Amazing. Sounds exactly like how it was originally.

It doesn't exactly sound like it if you compare it side-by-side. Maybe it will sound exactly the same if you go by memory. Even in my memory, there are still human artifacts of how it was played because it was played live like some of the notes are pressed a bit too long or maybe a BPM slower.

@@gelgel4823 Yeah. It's kind of uncanny, but I love it. It would also be cool to hear them use the exact same tone generators, but create a different arrangement instead of trying to be a one-to-one copy.
It's important to understand as well when this music is programmed it takes any notes played off beat and slides it into place making it perfect in timing and length etc. This is seriously impressive that they're playing this live. I love hearing the small human errors it makes it feel so much more down to earth.
Its crazy, i'm listening to them play the "Overworld" theme just thinking of my childhood of playing super mario at my grandmas house and then i start to think about all the other people in the world, playing the same game, growing up knowing the same exact catchy tune all their lives. Other countries have their type of music that others don't focus on, but gamers all around the world, talking billions, we all know a tune like this one 1:21

Not only do we all know that tune but once hearing that tune we instantly visually remember playing that level with the egg hatching and getting Yoshi. Crazy how long ago it has been but the thought comes back instantly. Good times growing up in the 90s and playing the snes. 😁
