The novelty to this new version is that for each of the features you love in Huff N' More Puff, there are now Super versions of each played on an expanded reel set. An outer wheel has been added which is spun when you land on the upgrade wedge of the standard wheel or land a golden buzz saw as part of your bonus trigger in the base game.
Here are the classic descriptions of the features:
During the Free Games Bonus, landing 3 or more bonus symbols awards 1 additional free game. Each bonus symbol that now lands locks in place for the remainder of the bonus and if one lands on a previously locked Hard Hat, it turns to Silver and if it does it again it turns to Gold. Any further landings on Gold will upgrade a random framed position or add a frame to a frameless position or award 10x your bet if neither of those can happen.
Straw House: 30x to 75x your bet multiplier.
Wood House: 90x to 360x your bet multiplier, Minor Bonus, Mini Bonus x2 or Mini Bonus.
Brick House: 400x to 10000x your bet multiplier, Grand Jackpot, Major Jackpot, Minor Bonus, Mini Bonus, Mini Bonus x2 or the Wheel!
Landing 3 or more of the Buzz Saw symbols awards one spin of the wheel for Jackpots or Progressives or one of the following features:
Buzz Saw Feature: All bonus symbols that landed will create Hats from their originating positions, moving left to right.
Mega Hat Feature: A Mega Hat symbol will land on the reel set awarding Hats to the positions that it lands on.
Mansions Feature: All initiating Bonus symbols are converted to Mansions and any additional Hats that land immediately become Mansions!
If you land the Upgrade wheel wedge, you get to spin the outer wheel for Super versions of each feature, along with Progressive Jackpots and... NO MINI!

You got almost a full screen of tape measures for $40.50, but in the original H & P those type of hits were much meatier. That's what makes this game tough if you don't bonus pretty quick. Thanks for posting.

This game is too volatile. The wins for your bet level are pathetic tbh. I’m not trying to be negative but it’s just so insane to me that they can get away with it.

Well, there's certainly no secret-formula to create a winning slot, because if there were, each manufacturer would be jumping all over it but instead, we get a lot of games that just miss the mark. I happen to really like this game and while I do agree some of the payouts are on the low side relative to prior versions, the other features of the game compensate to give many a good experience. Certainly when you give players a screen double the size with mansions as a possibility, something has got to give in return. I don't recall any other On-the-Floor game that has as much interest as this game and do believe overall, it's one people will return to. Time will tell though!

nice session but not sure how i feel about this version, line wins arent as good, and the houses arent as good either. highly volatile game made even more volatile the bonuses dont even feel as good on average. obviously if you get the super mansion feature its nuts but getting a mansion not even being guaranteed at minimum 10x anymore just feels bad considering how hard it is to get even 1 mansion most of the time

The changes you describe are absolutely concerns of many out there, but of course with all of the extra features and the ability for standard wins on the expanded reel sets, along with the Super Jackpot, concessions had to be made. Will they really turn off players? Time will tell although it still may be my favorite game On-the-Floor at the moment!
