As nice as it is, considering that the creators/creator re-skinned large chunks of the level designs... what makes it fall flat and is even more noticeable (since it is trying to be it's own thing) is: 1. When picking up weapons etc and going into certain rooms, the original music is used, which clashes awfully against the new one. 2. The first sections theme gets restarted every time you pick up a weapon/item 3. All the enemies are just recolors of the original ones. This is sad because it isn't that hard to create new sprites for enemies. 4. Worse, not even the bosses are new. 5. More difficult to pull off, but it would have been nice if the A.I of the enemies and their attacks had also gotten an update. 6. The same weapons and skills as in Super Metroid... so no innovation here either. Like I said... it is nice, but this is why it is a problem. When you put in that much time to change the levels and you try to make it a thing of its own... then you need to invest in the enemies and weapon system as well as abilities. It is called Biohazard, so I thought we were going to get some undead enemies... or at least maybe a toxic leak and mutating enemies. I mean... the change could be that there was a toxic leak that corroded everything and you had to constantly run around the levels and hit switches in an attempt to control the flow of the toxic leak and make funnel it to some place where all the toxin could get destroyed in a giant incinerator or something?

Hey, hack author here. This hack was created for a contest run by a big streamer. The text here is actually a joke, incinuating that if the player saves, they are ready to do poorly on purpose to get more footage for KZbin and thus a longer video which in turn gets them more ad revenue.

Just a few minutes into the video, but my only concern so far is it seems a little difficult at times to distinguish between background and foreground elements, what is decorative and what can be interacted with. Maybe that's just me though.
