Composed by Kenji Yamamoto. Recreated by me. This was made possible by locating the original instrument samples from workstation keyboards and drum machines before they were put into the game and rebuilding the soundtrack from the ground up, applying some modern mixing techniques along the way to lift the veil of 16bit compression and create an updated listening experience. You've done it again! I love how with your restoration mixes you try never to settle for "best guesses". If you can you'll leave no room for doubt that you used the exact samples the original composer worked with, hence this perfect restoration. Phenomenal.

The MP3 and FLAC links as of the time of my posting are incorrect. They're for "Super Metroid - Theme of Super Metroid [Restored" instead of "Super Metroid - Theme of Samus Aran, Galactic Warrior [Restored]". I am seeing the All Finished Tracks Are Here link too, which makes all other links redundant, however still wrong. The requests for changing default cookie settings to DL stuff is strange for the G-Drive track list.

I'm glad you're doing these. Ever since I was little and played the first Metroid on the NES when I was a kid I've loved the series but when I found out that Samus was a girl she became my childhood hero. Strange and stupid I know but I didn't have any strong, adventurous female role models in my life as a kid.
