I swear, every time I try to get into new games, even trying out different genres, I just end up playing Mario hacks (Infinite Mario, Cursed Castle,etc). So I guess SM64 is my favorite genre

Same thing here man. I was slow to get into Romhacks, don't have any friends into it so I had to figure out everything on my own. But man it's quite the journey! I started making KZbin videos of my game play too because I figured somebody else must also enjoy watching it. Right now I'm into MB64 and man it's so fun to build and play other people's levels. People get really creative.

Funny you mention Super Monkey Ball Jr., I believe this mod was based off that version rather than the original Gamecube release. Makes sense considering GBA would use MIDI for music, rather than streamed files like GC.
