My friend, now departed, designed the interior of that car. He was the VP of design at Olds in 1972 when he created the first Regency trim as a 75th Anniversary Edition 98. He said when Cadillac saw those seats, they tried to take them for the DeVille, but GM's CEO said "no way." And the rest was history.

I totally agree, keep it as is ! It would be a damm shame if someone put something like 20 or 22 inche rims on it, because it will f🤬🤬🤬 up the ride quality and make that car ride like a honda civic if not worse ! This is a clean oldsmobile but it's sitting on trues & vogue's not 30's spoke cragers. I own a 1985 Delta 88 Royal Brougham 4 dr Am/FM cassette player & a 1981 Olds 98 Brougham 4dr with Am/FM 8 track tape player, both have 30's & vogue's, ac/heat & drives extremely well.
