Late to the party, but let me explain: This is an ongoing joke along the Paper Mario games. In each game there is a required Quiz Show which you must complete to progress. Winning in those is not required, just gives you a reward. In Paper Mario, for Nintendo 64, it was the 64th quiz show (Peach had to answer questions regarding the plot coupons). In Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door (Gamecube), Mario had a pretty early quiz about the plot so far. This being the 65th show. In Super Paper Mario, we have the 66th. And I'm sure that in Sticker Star and Colour Splash there are quizzes as well, but Im not following the saga anymore. Even then, Im sure that the 67th and 68th shows are there as well.

Mimi is lowkey my favorite character in the entire Paper Mario series, ngl. Her transformation is terrifying, her obsession over rubies is hilarious, and I like her personality. She should appear in more mario games, heck if a remake or remaster of Super Paper Mario happened, I would totally be fine with that.

@peefromtmv Turn based or simply harder to fight. Maybe have an easy mode and a hard mode so the younger crowd doesn't get frustrated. It just seems like the boss's attack patterns get too predicable and are too easy to dodge the majority of the time. Like when Mimi turns into a saw. It takes forever for her to charge up, the saw bounces super obviously, and you can literally be Peach and press down to avoid the entire thing. That is not engaging gameplay.

This fight being easy is 100% intended to emphasize on how she was certain to have the advantage, and lost her balance when you became able to hit her again! Though we'd have all loved her chapter 8-2 fight to happen here so the final fight against her could have then been even wilder, it wouldn't have made sense to add the invincible web spin in this scene
