Absolutely beautiful. We’re really blessed with so much accessible greenery and nature, even though we’re so tiny. Thanks, Millie. Enjoying the series.

Peaceful indeed! I always enjoy your videos on SG’s nature and trails. Last time I was at MacRitchie was in secondary school for cross country in the early 80s. Been exploring more green spaces as I visit twice a year. Would love to join you on a hike someday. 😄

You’re the second person to mention MacRitchie for cross country. I’m sure that was a tricky one. When is your next visit to Singapore?

akways one of my favourite places to chill

It's a great spot and so varied too when you start exploring the other trails.

MacRitchie seems a lot nicer than I remember. At school we did our cross country runs there and the trails are etched with suffering in my memory. 😂 The boardwalk is especially lovely, what a beautiful walk next to the water!

I imagine those trails were quite tricky. I did one once and didn’t realise how off road it was!! Thanks for getting in touch.

Yea me too 😫 i hated the cross country

Wonder if kids still go there. Our son loves cross country but they have never gone there before.

Nice. But as you walk straight ahead, it may be good to stop and pan RIGHT AND LEFT to show the places you have walked pass. We can see what is straight ahead but we missed what is on the left and right - like we missed the pavilion in the middle of the board walk.

Thanks for the tip ☺️ I’ll be sure to add that into future videos.

That was lovely, I had imagined that walk to be a little less developed. The bridge about 3 minutes in, is it bendy/twisty as a design, or is there a purpose? The monkeys seem less vicious than the ones on Pulau Ubin. Thank you

It's more of a garden walk I guess, there are some other trails that are more jungly and natural. The bridge actually has a couple of performance platforms (although I've never seen any on it) I think the design doesn't have a particular purpose for being so bendy, maybe just for fun so you can see more of the water underneath and spot the fish and terrapins. Ubin monkeys are quite brave. I have been on a walk here before and monkey tried to take a snack bar from my hand!! Maybe the ones I saw today has just had breakfast.

My cousin is staying near to this reservoir at Westlake Avenue & there are times when monkeys intrude into her kitchen backyard looking for food.

Thank you for such videos. It can benefit people can't be there physically, especially those who are unable to. 💕

That's what we hope to show. Lots of our viewers don't live in Singapore or are unable to go for longer walks. Thanks for the support. Have you seen any of our other walking tours?

I remembered paranormal investigators taking this path in the middle of the night, scary...
I rarely go there because of Monkeys. Not a fan of those critters

Depending on your time of visit they come out more in the morning or evening when it’s cooler. I just make sure I keep a distance and don’t make eye contact or have food visible.
