I think you could still join it together like a regular granny square. (North American term) Use the braided part as a 3D feature and over lap them where they meet, and attach a button or a crochet flower in the center. It would make a gorgeous throw over a chair or at the foot of a bed. Beautiful work and great ideas! 👏😊🌸
