Best uk album the HMV catalogue was deleted in 1958 when RCA took over pressing Elvis in the UK the Elvis no2 was only available for a year and a half if that !??

What makes Old Shep an essential track is Elvis sang it at a county fair singing contest at age 10 and won his first singing prize.

At about the 12:00 mark, you talk about the mono and stereo versions of LPM-1382. The designation "LPM" on RCA albums from that time officially stood for "Long Play Microgroove" (first used in 1951 on 10 inch LP's), as both 45's and LP's were considered "microgroove", as opposed to the standard "coarse" grooves of then-contemporary78's. In addition, stereo records, while certainly in an experimental stage at the time, were yet to be perfected. LSP, stood for "Living Stereo Popular", even on reprocessed stereo albums.

Good to hear more coverage on the 2nd album which gets a bit overlooked. Both LP covers are striking but where as the U.S. cover is a standard glamour shot, the U.K. version is shockingly ahead of its time - it looks exactly like a cover shot (including the tinting) from Andy Warhol's Interview Magazine in the 70's and 80's. Very punk / new wave. One of the greatest graphic treatments IMO.

I'm sorry that you were sick my friend but as The Story Goes My Daddy was convinced by his bodyguards just stopped taking his medication he thought it was doing the worst for him I have heard so many vibrations of what happened that night but mostly as I can relax.
