Very disappointed, especially as Finnish myself. First of all, they call it Scandinavian map but Finland is not part of that. A lot of reused animals, some odd choises like mouflon that we have barely any here. No standout new species or local ones like capercaillie, raccoon dog or upland birds. No new duck species either. I won't be buying it since it doesn't seem to offer anything new.

@the.mr.schrader Very small part of the north so mostly it's not. But when you refer "Scandinavia" specifically, it's Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

It's a beautiful map, now ofc it needs to have all these repeat species because those are the species actually living there. I think it's a good map and I don't have a lot of problems with them existing in other maps. They are still really really cool to hunt in a different enviroment.

I really wish they would make it so you get a new set of animal spawns every time you log into the map or maybe even once a week, so it give's you more of an excitement like you had when finding something like that and a reason to explore the Map. Cause how it's set up now after a month and getting your herds set up it just gets repetitive.

It was 100% an initial spawn, i played like 1 hour before making this vid so i could unlock a few campsites. Had not been to that spot in particular until the vid. Only played like 20 minutes after i got this guy. Ngl the map is just not that exciting to me

Compared to the last two maps, specifically Matariki park, this is severely underwhelming. I'm hoping they amp up their A game come next map. Only one new species to the game that wasn't reskinned from existing animal models? Unless they backfill this map in the future, I don't think I'm gonna get this one ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

yeah this one would only be worth it if it were 144 km^2 like the original 2 maps. I hate the direction they're going with tiny maps packed chock full of animals around every single corner

One thing I have noticed on this map that high fitness's seem to be more abundant. The first day I played I got three four star animals. Still, after all the maps with moose, have yet to see a 5 star one =-= Though I am still disappointed with the lack of new species, I DO like this map a LOT more for hunting European species than Transylvania .

After playing few hours on this map I started to like it. So many species, so many animals everywhere. For brown bear actually this is the better map, over Transylvania. Lot of wild boars, mouflons and deer everywhere, very cool map. They added European moose, because you can see lot of moose everywhere in Sweden and Finland, but they are the smallest species of moose unfortunately. I don`t know how big is a 5 star moose, but we`ll find out. For bowhunting this map is amazing too. Oh and lot of wolves every fucking where 😆I saw huge packs of wolves too. Lot of predators on this map, if you are a predator hunter, this map is the best so far for you.

I have to say I am a bit disappointed in the new map, I don't think they went to as much trouble in creating stuff as usual. Previous maps like Africa I had a great time hunting Lions, Buffalo etc etc. I still have a ton of trophies I could not put up on the walls, then the New Zealand map I had a good time Hunting the Red deer etc, I was surprised they did not add the massive Elk from New Zealand. There was something special to hunt & keep my interest on the last 2 maps but this new map is a repeat of nearly every animal we have hunted, the wolverine just looks like a badger, the artic fox just looks like normal foxes except white is common. The Moose are not as impressive as other maps, I have run all over this new map & killed a lot of animals since the opening, there is not one animal that I could be bothered to try & get to 5 star. I have played 700 hours & 3,000 hours on call of the wild. I just want to mention one of my pet hates from this game is why put so many obstacles along the water edges, on older maps all along the creeks there is so many dead trees that stop you, there often in areas where there is no trees at all but there along the creeks & this new map running along the water ways is a pain in the butt, so many dead trees in big bundles to go around. I spent the last couple of days running all the water ways looking for zones & I have had enough of the damn dead trees, I just don't get why so many.

Not to be the annoying "axchually" but, there are only so many animals in scandinavia that are different from most of the west. I don't know what people was really expecting to hunt there.

i mean im different than most because i love this map (im from finland where the map is) but i find some of the things a little weird we dont have any mouflon here (exept in zoos mayby) and the wolves are really hard to get tags for because we have under 500...or was it 200...of them...also the terrain changes too quickly in the map for finland and mayby there isnt as many forests as there should be...(i havent played much yet...)
