SUPER RARE WATCHES bought from thrift store

Was shocked to find such rare watches at my local third store that work. I always go in, and it’s the first time to find such rare watches.

Firstly you can still sell the Longines as long as you are upfront about the fact that it's got a replacement (probably Chinese) movement. The Enicar and Junghans both need a new look modern strap. Something in a pastel colour and suede would look great. The Sandoz is very nice. I reckon that the Enicar and Junghans are $100 - $150 each, the Longines $50 and the Sandoz $200. Another great score.

Thanks for the advice. I personally don’t sell fake watches. It’s not not my thing. I feel individuals should not rip off watch manufacturers

When you are checking prices on Ebay it is important to filter for "sold". People ask crazy prices that are not realistic. If you check the sold listings you will get a better idea of the real value.

Thanks I always try and check sold, but the issue is, for rare watches. There are often a couple for sale and 0 sold. So I go just under what the ebay seller is asking. That way, customers can message me and make offers

Oh man those are nice finds for 70$. When I go all I see is a bunch of seikos that they're typically asking 40-60$.

I’d check the value on that Junghans. They’re still in business today. To me that sounds like it might be the most valuable. Great video. I’m a recent new subscriber. Keep it up and keep making videos. It takes time to develop a following, but I think you’re having a good start.

I agree with you 100% I own a newer Junghans and they are very well made, valuable watches. German made, but as many would say, just as good as Swiss. Their vintage models are very attractive and not as easy to come by in as good shape as this one appears to be.

How do you assess the value of these watches quickly when you’re in the store, I would think it would be difficult if you don’t know the names. If it runs and looks good? I’ve been thinking about putting google lens on my phone. For 70 bucks looks like some great watches👍

Thank you, honestly google lens does not work. For me, knowledge is power. Also if a watch is a well made men’s automatic it’s worth money. If I have no idea, I will take the item and look it up on eBay quickly

Dude,it doesn't matter what they "asking on eBay" ,what matters is how much they are sold for, i do not want to bring you down, don't get me wrong,but giving you a tip /free lesson 😬 So Enicar is good brand and all ,but only certain models are higher priced , same to the Sandoz plus stainless steel is more valuable than gold filled and if the case is not even st.steel price going down like a rocket, so the real price of E. is $70 and S. $120 if they work.
