I agree, them and Bear and D199 are other Versions of them, it would be good if it was D199 and D261 VS Bear and Boco somewhere on Thomas & Friends but this would be best for TV Series because it would be another Episode to expand on D261.

What an excellent adaptation. Boco and Bowler taking the places of Bear and Spamcan was a brilliant idea and I enjoyed seeing how much you changed to make this story work. I so love the rescue scene when Henry comes to save the day :D .

I think NWR1991 did not have Bear at time of making this video so Boco was used in place of Bear. Also D199 & Blower are kinda the same as they have a yellow front and a yellow back.

Just there not the same diesel class plus D199 is Blue and Blower is Dark Green.

This is so true of Thomas and Friends. Using already-existing characters to play the roles of 199 and 7101, a call back to Bowled Out, the inclusion of Bertie, and the shoe horning of Thomas into the scene at the sheds. I must say, I really like the scene of the driver explaining what is wrong to Henry compared to the weird scene of Henry talking to himself and explaining to the reader what happened to him from the original story.

very good there seems to be alot of these super rescue stories popping up these days from what i have seen i think this is the third story i've seen now, I do like this alt story you have done replacing the two diesel's with Boco and the other I do wish they would bring this episode into the main tv series one day would love to see it, anyway keep up the good work.

I rather like this! Very much like something Allcroft and Mitton would write, maybe a bit bogged down on explaining Henry but it works well. Great to have BoCo being important in this since he didn’t speak at all in S4.

To be honest, I always pictured D261's model to be retooled to make D199, and BoCo's model to be retooled into Bear, had Super Rescue been adapted at all in the TV show.

Yeah. They would probably make a Class 35. If it's too expensive, then they could replace Bear with BoCo, while they can make D199 from D261.

Never understood why they went through the trouble of making D261 but only using the model a total of two times in Rusty to the Rescue and Bowled Out. Especially when you would want to get the most use out of it. Seriously, they could easily reuse him for D199 and that diesel in Old Stuck Up or even have him pop up in Series 5.

Crimson Raptor 41. '. A bunch of the models used in the show including bowler are being displayed at Drayton Manor. Most of them are being abused and broken because the owners of the models are extremely spiteful towards the ttte community. You can find pics on google of the damage done.

Now I have seen both railway series remakes of this and this one. And I still have a question. I dont think I can understand why Henry is forced to go backwards. But then he has to help the diesel's forwards. It just confuses me. It has confused me

eckesg2 - Henry has a reversing gear that can make him go forward in the forward position and with the steam that he had left. It’s a bit technical and although I’m a railway enthusiast I don’t have that amount of knowledge about locomotive controls. But from my understanding that’s how it works

Because his Regulator is Jammed, so he can’t move as much as he should be able to, using the Reverser is a fairly rough way of being able to drive as it doesn’t have the finer valve closure.
